Over 250 Applicants – 60 Chosen
The interest was far beyond expectations – over 250 people applied for a spot, but we selected 60 participants to create a good mix of experiences and perspectives. It was amazing to see so many Webflow enthusiasts gathered under one roof.
The mix was also really great: everything from experienced Webflow developers to those just starting to explore Webflow, along with agency owners, freelancers, and web designers. It became a real community hangout – people mingled, shared experiences, and we heard throughout the day how new collaborations began to form, exactly what we had hoped for!

The Setup – From Technical to Practical
We ran five short, focused presentations, here’s a recap:
Lazar (Takumi Agency): Reverse Proxy + Webflow
Lazar kicked off the day with a technical walkthrough of how to use Reverse Proxy in combination with Webflow – especially when you want to integrate Webflow with another CMS like WordPress or Drupal.
Example:
If you have a website built in WordPress but want to start building landing pages in Webflow – without moving the entire website right away?
You can use Cloudflare as an intermediary and route the traffic to Webflow. It’s a great way to start exploring Webflow in a live environment without needing to make the full switch all at once.
Especially useful if you’re working with a CMS that’s well-integrated into your business and not something you can just switch overnight – but you still want to take advantage of Webflow’s flexibility, performance, and control for certain parts.
Dejan (Good Guys): Clarity from the Start – The Key to Smooth Webflow Projects
I talked about how we at Good Guys project manage Webflow projects in a way that benefits both the client and our production team. The focus was on:
- How we define the project scope early through a Scope Call
- How we set the right expectations from the start
- How we estimate and maintain a smooth workflow throughout the project
For us, it’s about building structure and trust from the start – it shows in both the process and the end result.
Rastko & Ognjen (Good Guys): Figma + Webflow Workflows
Our own Figma and Webflow specialists – Rastko and Ognjen – shared their best tips for creating an effective collaboration between design and Webflow development.
They talked about:
- How important it is to define the architecture before you start building: What should be CMS, what should be static, what should be global?
- How a clear style guide in Figma saves a ton of time
- How design and development collaborate to achieve pixel-perfect results in Webflow
Many in the audience could relate – this is often a challenge in projects, so it was really appreciated to get concrete insights.
Dario (Good Guys): Startups & the Right CMS Choice
Dario shared his experiences working with startups like Justly and POF – and how important it is to choose a CMS that provides speed, not friction. His point was clear: as a startup, you want to be able to test and launch quickly. That’s where Webflow is a tool that gives you both flexibility and control.
He also raised a question many startups struggle with: Are we building for users or for the service providers? – an important discussion that led to several exciting side conversations throughout the rest of the day.
A Day to Remember
I’m super proud of the team – everyone nailed their presentations. And yes, we invited 60 people, and almost everyone showed up – it was the first time I gave a speech in front of so many! Nervous? Yes, but the feeling afterward? Really great. This definitely left me wanting more. Check out the video below to get a sense of the event!
